Cussons Baby – Share the Joy Contest 2022

Please find below our terms and conditions:

The following terms and conditions apply to the Share the Joy with Cussons baby (“Contest’’) and all participants in the promotion are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the same: –

  1. Promotion Period
  • The promotion is valid from Tuesday 27th June 2022 to Friday 23rd September 2022

 both days are inclusive (‘’the Promotion Period’’)

  1. Eligibility

Promotion is open to all existing and prospective Cussons Baby users. This however excludes all employees of PZ Cussons East Africa Limited, both permanent and casual and their immediate families, its subsidiary companies, its Agencies, Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) employees and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

  • Participants under the age of 18 years, who win a prize, must be accompanied by their guardian for prize collection and will be required to provide the necessary documents for the guardian for their verification (Birth certificate or any other legal document).
  • Participation open only to Kenyan residents /citizens & proof of citizenship/residenship may be required.
  1. Entry into the promotion
  • Any consumer who buys the below and sends the code as indicated inside the pack to 24544 will enter into the promotion:

 

  • Cussons baby Gift boxes (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Cussons baby large/small Gift bags (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Cussons baby 200ml,100ml Jelly (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Cussons baby 200ml,100ml Oil (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Cussons baby 300g, 100g Soap (S&S, M&G, F&N and PC variants)
  • Cussons baby 200ml Baby wash (M&G variant)
  • Cussons baby 50s,20s Wipes (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Cussons baby 100g,50g Powder (S&S and M&G variants)
  • Any other promo pack that might be developed within the timelines of the NCP.

 

  • Upon sending the code on the pack, participants will receive a confirmation mobile text message acknowledging receipt of their entry into the promotion.
  • Note: Only codes sent from local network providers- Safaricom and Airtel will be able to enter the promotion.
  1. Prizes
  • By entering the promotion, you stand a chance to win the prizes shown in the matrix below:
  1. Draws and Selection of winners
  • Daily draws will be done via the system and selected winners receive their prizes on the same day.
  • Weekly draws will be done via the system every Tuesday and selected winners will receive their prizes the following week.
  • Monthly draws will be done as follows:
    • Draw 1: Tuesday, 2nd July 2022
    • Draw 2: Tuesday, 30th July 2022
    • Draw 3: Tuesday, 23rd September 2022
  • The grand draw will be done on 2nd August 2022 at the end of the third month of promotion.
  • All draws will be held at PZ Cussons East Africa Limited Offices located at Baba Dogo Road, Ruaraka, and Nairobi.
  • A BCLB representative, Agency representative and PZ Cussons marketing team MUST be present for each draw.
  1. Draw Mechanic
    • The winner(s) will be randomly selected electronically during the daily, weekly, monthly and grand draws. Any decisions made on the winner by BCLB and PZ Cussons East Africa Limited shall be final and binding.
  1. Notification of Winners
  • Winners will be contacted only through the following number: – 0700 230 230
  • For the avoidance of doubt, missed calls and calls diverted to voice mail will not be deemed to have been answered for purposes of the promotion.
  1. Prize presentation
    • Daily airtime prizes will be sent to the winners’ phones directly.
    • Weekly vouchers will be sent to the winners who are out of Nairobi but within Kenya. For those within Nairobi, the winners will be required to collect the same from PZ Cussons East Africa Limited offices on Baba Dogo Road in Ruaraka, Nairobi.
    • Every month, the weekly winners will go into a special draw where 1 will be selected to participate in a shop-a-thon.
    • Monthly & Grand draw cash prizes will be presented to the winner by PZ Cussons East Africa Limited staff at a specified location.
    • Cash prizes with be less applicable statutory deductions.
    • Proof of identification (National Identification Card / Passport) will be required when claiming the prizes. Proof of purchase may also be required.

 

  1. General rules of the promotion
  • All Prizes must be claimed within 3months after the winner has been contacted.
  • The Organizers and BCLB may nullify any prize to any participant in the event of fraud, dishonesty or non-eligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Organizers (subject to any direction from BCLB) reserve the right to amend and adjust the Promotion format and timings as they deem fit and shall communicate the same as necessary.
  • The Organizers may require that any of the winners be identified, photographed and published in the press, online or appear on radio and television in relation to their receipt of the prizes and the Organizers shall have the right to use such photographs or video footage in the marketing activities related to the Promotion in any media.
  • By entering the Promotion, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which will be subject to interpretation by the Organizers and BCLB, whose interpretation shall be final and binding.
  • The Promotion remains subject to the provisions of the Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act (CAP 131) Laws of Kenya and any disputes arising shall be resolved in accordance with the provision of the Act.
  • If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the other provisions of these Terms and conditions and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid.
  • The Organizers (subject to any direction from BCLB) reserve the right to suspend or terminate the promotion or amend, modify or change these terms and conditions at any time.

 

  1. Voucher prizes
  • The vouchers will be valid for 3months after the winner has been contacted.
  1. Winners will be announced in the national dailies or contacted directly via their telephone numbers as registered on SMS Promotion number 24544.
  2. The draw selection results are final; no correspondences will be entered into.
  3. If upon notification the selected winner of any prize does not claim the prize three (3) months after the end of the promotion, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited the same and the prize will be surrendered to the BCLB.
  4. PZ Cussons East Africa Limited and BCLB reserves the right to withdraw any prizes to be awarded to any person suspected or implicated of fraudulent activities or attempts thereof related to the promotion.
  1. By agreeing to participate in the promotion, all winners of the various prizes agree that their name, and picture can be made public through any media as PZ Cussons East Africa Limited may choose (Including but not limited to internet) and that they will further agree to participate in any public relations and marketing activities relating to the promotion without any monetary consideration as required.
  2. PZ Cussons East Africa Limited reserves the right (subject to any direction from BCLB) to suspend or terminate the Promotion or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason. Any amendment to these terms and conditions will be published on the daily newspaper.
  3. The promotion remains subject to the provisions of the Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act (Cap 131 Laws of Kenya) and any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in accordance with such provisions.
